Cocoa's New Look

This is Cocoa. Cocoa was brought to us because his owners had too many dogs and could not care for him properly. He was in terrible shape when he came in. No one wanted to stop by his kennel and look at him. He just looked dirty and not very happy. Cindi from Doggy Day Spa volunteers her time to groom dogs that are severely matted. She grooms for us to enhance the chance’s of these dogs being adopted. The first day after Cocoa was groomed, he was adopted. I would like to say Thank you to Cindi at Doggy Day Spa for helping all our little furry friends…

As a community, we all have a responsibility to do all that we can to help these unfortunate animals. We need volunteers to help walk, bathe, and/or provide temporary homes for the many animals of the shelter. Volunteers are also needed to assist with mail outs, newsletters, and adoption drives. Become a Guardian Angel to help save one more life.

The shelter is always in need of the following:

Purina or Pedigree Dog/Puppy Food
Purina Cat/Kitten Food
Blankets/Towels
Bleach
Hand Sanitizer
Joy Dishwashing Liquid
Laundry Detergent
Leashes
Copy Paper

Please make the Columbus-Lowndes Humane Society your charity for 2008.
 Help us, help them.
