Sam Sanderson adopted a black matted male pup from the CLHS in 2006. This dog
was brought in by Animal Control from the City. It was running loose, all wet,
matted, cold, and frankly not very adoptable. Sam Sanderson was volunteering and
saw this little fellow that was way too young to be away from his mother. She
decided that this was the dog for her. She took him home, gave him lots of love,
and named him Treasure. Come to find out he was a Standard Poodle. Sam
said he fit right in with her family and other dogs. Today he is a beautiful
70-80lb dog who is spoiled rotten and wants for nothing. Thank you Sam for
rescuing a homeless pet!
